I'm Doctor Anna Shagharyan. I practice dentistry. I've been doing the G4 procedure for about five and a half years. I did get my initial training with Doctor Golpa. So initially he would guide me during the procedure, and then if I would have any questions, I would do the procedure, and then I would have him come and check my placement or X-rays.
At this point, I've probably helped place thousands of implants and restore thousands of smiles. So it's second nature.
Over the years, I've been able to say yes to more procedures and to more complexity because as I gained a lot of experience, my confidence level has increased. And in addition, I've taken many advanced surgery courses, which also affects and increases your skill level and confidence. So yes, absolutely, I've been saying yes to more complex cases than before.
These days, people's approach to dentistry is changing. These days, everybody is looking for fast and quick treatment. They don't want to wait for months and years to get their dental work done. And I see a lot more younger patients coming in.
Dentistry is my passion. I'm very passionate about dentistry. This procedure is life-changing for patients to undergo.
When the patient first sees their teeth, obviously they get really ecstatic and they're very excited, and they see change coming in their life. And all this brings a lot of emotions.
And myself also, it's very gratifying to be able to provide the procedure for them and to be part of their life-changing experience.
